The ANHS Alumni Association declares that the 2nd ANHS Alumni Grand Reunion and Homecoming will push though by May 2009. This is the 41st years of ANHS since its foundation in 1968. ANHS celebrates Ruby or 40th Year Celebration last year.

Ms. Luniza Pongcol-Garrido, the Alumni Association President announces that final date of the grand activity will be on May 13, 2009.

The occasion motto: “leaving the marks at 40…. in commitment and solidarity”.

The approved activities are as follows:

1. Grand Parade and Motorcade by all batches (from 1969 to 2009) wearing an official printed alumni t-shirt uniform (ruby color). Venue is set at ANHS campus in the morning. All alumni members who have motorbikes are encouraged to join the motorcade. Every batch is advised to have their own respective banner during the parade with the size of 1 meter wide long (after which shall be hung at Alumni Night Venue for your table and seats location)

    

2. Program Proper will follow at the ANHS campus. Recognition of all participating batches is one among the highlights of the program. Well-known leaders and visitors will grace the program and share their relevant experiences.

    

3. Batch Fellowship. Subsequently after the short program, there will be a batch fellowship/bonding. Alumni are given time with their batchmates to discuss their plans and/or directions and organize their respective batch sets of officers as well. Lunch will follow as every batch has its own prepared baons.

    

4. General Assembly Meeting at 1:00 o’clock P.M. just after the lunch. Ratification of Alumni Association Constitution By-laws will be the main agendum. Other concerns regarding the institutional strengthening and development of the Alumni Association will also be presented on this assembly meeting.

    

5. Community Service (Feeding to Day Care Pupils). This will be done after the General Assembly meeting. Identified Day Care Centers in selected barangays of Alegria, Surigao del Norte will be the beneficiaries of the alumni feeding program.
   
6. Alumni Grand Night to be held at Alegria Community Stage. Hopefully, there will be a live band and a tribute variety show by the ANHS students and Faculty; recognition and awarding of outstanding alumni; disco party, and other gimmicks will highlight the big night activity.

Official Printed Alumni T-Shirt at Php 150.00 will be available upon order c/o Teacher Leodrita “Ging-ging” Ugay-Jerusalem. T-shirt order deadline will be on April 30, 2009. The color of the printed Alumni T-Shirt Uniform is ruby (red pink). Purchase of same is compulsory for every registered alumni. Registration fee of Php 50.00 (fifty pesos) only per alumni will be collected to finance the relevant and legitimate expenses of the said occasion. Additional Php 10.00 (ten pesos) only for husband/wife who are non-alumni members. Registration will start on the afternoon of May 12, 2009 @ ANHS Campus. Admission ticket for the Grand Alumni Night entrance will be issued to every alumni upon registration.

Table charge during the alumni night is Php 150.00 per table w/ chairs. Table reservation per batch must be made on or before May 12, 2009 and on “first come first serve” basis. Tables will be available depending on the capacity of the venue.
